Announcing the 2023 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Career Success Stars

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is pleased to announce the 2023 CTE Career Success Stars. Former CTE students in their 20s and 30s, representing each of the 17 career clusters as well as a U.S. military branch, are being recognized as the Commonwealth’s brightest Career Success Stars. Their video profiles highlight how CTE programs provide academic and technical skills for high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand careers. Nominations for 2023-2024 Career and Technical Education Curriculum Review Committees

The Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education is accepting nominations for the 2023- 2024 CTE curriculum review committees. School divisions may nominate a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher for any of the 48 committees. Approximately 12 applicants will be selected by the Superintendent of Public Instruction to serve on each committee. All nominees who wish to serve on a committee must complete the web-based application using the CTE Application Processing System (CTEAPS).
