Service of Process

Service of process of subpoenas and other court documents on the Department, the Board, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and individual VDOE employees or Board members will be accepted Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. , at the 1st Floor Security Desk of the Old City Hall Building, 1001 E Broad St, Richmond, VA 23219.

Upon arrival, process servers must notify the onsite security guard of the purpose of their visit. Documents must be presented to Rebecca Askew or other staff in the Office of Policy.
