The Virginia Board of Education adopted revised World Language Standards of Learning on March 18, 2021.
Introduction
Although there is no applicable SOL test associated with world language instruction, the SOLs are intended to provide students with the knowledge and skills to be able to interact, within reasonable limits, with users of the language and understand their culture.
