What is the purpose of the K-12 IT Advisory?

The purpose of the K-12 IT Advisory is to advise the Department on the most urgent issues facing K-12 IT and to work towards building the knowledge and understanding that address these issues. 

Who are the members of the K-12 IT Advisory?

The K-12 IT Advisory is composed of one Technology Director from each of the eight Superintendent's regions and the Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE). Members of the Advisory are charged with leading regional technology director meetings on a regular basis to discuss local and state initiatives and to disseminate information. The Advisory is led by the Learning Infrastructure Coordinator in the Office of Educational Technology and Classroom Innovation.   • Offering webinars and training in areas of need
