Title VI: Indian, Native Hawaiian & Alaskan Education

Title VI provides funds to school divisions to support American Indian, Native Hawaiian and Alaska Native students in meeting state standards. Title VI supports such things as early-childhood and family programs, academic enrichment programs, curriculum development, professional development, family literacy services, science and mathematics enrichment programs, remedial programs, culturally related activities, beginning literacy skills in grades K-3, the needs of at-risk children and youth, etc.
