Financial Data Collections

Annual School Report – Financial Section (ASRFIN) 2021-2022 - Due: September 15, 2022

The 2021-2022 Annual School Report data collection is due to the Department of Education as required by Section 22.1-81 of the Code of Virginia. 

This application is completed in the Single Sign-on for Web Systems (SSWS) portal.  The ASRFIN Excel Template, Instructions, Chart of Accounts, Adjusted Locality Ledger, Sales Tax, and EOY Basic Aid Adjustments reports are accessed in the ASRFIN application in SSWS. Log in to SSWS, select Annual School Report: Financial (ASRFIN), and then select Instructions on the upper right side of the screen for all ASRFIN documentation. 

Budgeted Required Local Effort and Required Local Match – Fiscal Year 2023 - Due: July 22, 2022

The FY 2023 Budgeted Required Local Effort and Required Local Match data collection is due to the Department of Education as required by Item 137 of Chapter 2, 2022 Special Session I Acts of Assembly (2022 Appropriation Act).

Log into SSWS, Select Required Local Effort And Required Local Match (RLERLM), and then select Instructions on the right side of the screen. Located here are step-by-step instructions, Relevant Legal Citations, and the Projected FY 2023 SOQ RLE and Optional RLM amounts based on Chapter 2, 2022 Special Session I Acts of Assembly, and List of Qualifying Schools for Reading Specialists and Math/Reading Instructional Specialists.

Foster Care – Fiscal Year 2023 Reimbursement for Local Operational Costs Incurred During Fiscal Year 2022 (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022) - Due: July 31, 2022

To receive state payment for the cost of providing services to certain children placed in foster care, divisions are required to provide data related to those services. This application is completed in the Single Sign-on for Web Systems (SSWS) portal; The Foster Care Excel template and instructions are now accessed in the Foster Care Enrollment application in SSWS under Instructions on the right side of the screen.
