Regional Centers Enrollment and Self-Reported Programs’ Participation Dashboard

The Regional Centers Enrollment and Self-Reported Programs’ Participation dashboard shows the variety of opportunities and programs that school divisions provide to students across the Commonwealth of Virginia. These optional opportunities to participate in enriching academic, career and technical, visual, and performing arts activities are alternatives beyond those normally available in the students' home schools. There are three visualization views for each dashboard for the 2023-2024 school year.

On the home dashboard, the first view shows the regional center by location, the second shows the % of student participation by division, and the third is a detailed table showing the data broken down into more specific details. One of the  breakdowns available is the student participation by one of the 6 center types (Alternative, Career and Technical Education, Governors STEM Academy, Governors, Hybrid, and Special Education). The home dashboard features data collected through SRC (Student Record Collection) and MSC (Master Schedule Collection). The “Self Report Data” dashboard features participation data generated through a survey which was administered in Fall 2023 to collect information about additional education opportunities or pathways that each school division provides to their students.
